Vertical Music - Worship
We are blessed to have a wonderful group of talented musicians who have
hearts of humility and who grasp the big picture. We come from all walks
of life but one thing is certain, when we come together, we are of one mind, in one accord and
we are about doing something excellent, perhaps something new and even spontaneous, always with the expectation that
God will show up! A New Church is always looking for new talent and opportunities to develop musicianship and spiritual growth.

Men’s Ministries
We have a men’s breakfast every Saturday morning at 4am… yeah right!
Is it just us or do most men’s ministries center around coffee and cakes (lots of coffee) at some unseemly hour in the morning! We like to mix it up and do something different. Once a month we get together … could be football in the park, mountain hiking, paint ball or just chllin out – we wrap it up with a time for discussion and prayer in a nonjudgmental and safe setting. In the age of moral compromise, diminishing values and socio-economic uncertainty we need to be reminded to take time to reevaluate, refocus and return to what’s really important! We are running a race; we just need to be sure we’re running on the right track.

Ministry to the Elderly & Impoverished
It takes a very special person to minister to the elderly, the terminal and the poverty stricken. Cheryl Wizer is such a person!
Cheryl gives so much and takes so little. She shares the love of Jesus with the elderly at nursing homes, opens her heart to those in their final days in hospice and brings hope and goodies to the displaced at the Los Angeles Mission. She brings a gentle touch, a heartfelt prayer and a compassion that is desperately needed in a world that marginalizes the elderly, the dieing and the down-trodden. Her sacrifice is an inspiration to us all and a testament to what
