Commitment to follow Jesus

Do you sense that God is trying to tell you something? Is there something missing? Have you tried to fill the void with materialism, relationships, the corporate ladder, sex, drugs, whoppers with cheese and whatever else only to still come out empty? We are designed for divine connection, moreover we are created to have relationship with Jesus and to have His Spirit fill the empty places within us with His love. John 3:16 tells us that God so loved us that He gave us Jesus, His most precious gift. Unfortunately for many in our culture this has become cliché...but maybe it would have more meaning if you understood it more personally. God so loved YOU that He gave Himself for you. He will chase you to the ends of the earth to win you. You are the crown of His creation and He loves you with love immeasurable! Once you know the Creator of all things, all things take on new meaning and purpose, especially you!

Are you ready for change? Are you ready to be forgiven and made new? Are you ready to follow Jesus?

Pray this prayer.

Heavenly Father I have lived a life apart from You. I went my own way and it produced little good. I recognize that I need You and I am tired of calling the shots! I give you my life and I thank You that You give me yours. I believe that You sent Jesus to give His life for me, to die that I might live. I believe that You raised Him from the dead and He is Lord of all. I thank You that I am forgiven of ALL my sins, washed clean and made new. I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit now that I might know Your love and peace. I commit from this day forward to follow You and grow in Your grace. I thank You that I am now saved, born anew and a child of the Most High God!! 

Thank you Jesus! My Lord!
